Ed Devane

Ed Devane is a sound artist, instrument designer, and educator. He began as an electronic music producer, before exploring design and manufacture. His instruments are made for fun and immediacy, appealing to children and seasoned performers alike. Devane has previously worked as a technician at NCAD and a teaching assistant at the University of Limerick. He maintains a studio in Donegal, Ireland, where he builds equipment under the name Soniphorm. His workshops have been created for diverse organisation, including DCCOI, Creative Ireland, Science Gallery, and The Ark.
